01
Who we are
3Fabrics.ai is operated by Three Fabrics Inc., a Delaware corporation in formation, which decides how your personal data is used (the controller). For anything about this notice or your data, write to hi@3fabrics.com. For a problem with the website, write to admin@3fabrics.com.
02
What we collect
The early-access form asks for your work email and whether you are joining as an engineer or a company; we need both to add you to the list. Everything else is optional: your name, organization, role, country, areas of work, a short note and how you heard about us. Organization is also optional for businesses on the current form.
You may also share disciplines, project phases, why you are here and a rare skill suggestion. We use these optional answers to tailor founding invitations and plan the community. They are not a public profile, a verification or a public skill catalog. Rare skill suggestions are never displayed publicly.
When you join, we also keep a record of your consent: the exact sentences you agreed to, the form version, and when you asked, confirmed and unsubscribed.
If you email us, at hi@3fabrics.com or admin@3fabrics.com, we receive your address and your message.
Our hosting provider processes IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. The sign-up service itself keeps only a one-way hash of your connection address, for up to 24 hours, to prevent abuse. We do not track whether you open our emails or click their links.
If you use Pause animations or Play animations, your browser keeps that choice on your device. It is not sent to us.
03
Why, and on what basis
The early-access list: your consent, given on the form and confirmed by email. Product news: a separate consent, only if you ticked that box. You can withdraw either at any time; this does not affect what was done before.
Emails you send us: we use them to answer you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, and, if we work together, to prepare and carry out that agreement.
Protecting the site and the sign-up service from abuse: our legitimate interest in keeping them secure and available.
Business records we must keep: our tax and legal obligations, and establishing or defending legal claims.
We make no automated decisions about you.
04
How long we keep it
A request you have not confirmed is deleted within 30 days of making it; the link in our email stops working after 7 days.
Confirmed details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, until 12 months after the 3Fabrics.ai platform launches publicly, and never longer than 24 months after you confirm, whichever comes first.
When you unsubscribe, we delete your details from the list at once and keep only your email address, the dates and your consent record, for up to 24 months, so we can show what you agreed to and never email you by mistake.
The one-way hash of your connection address is deleted within 24 hours.
Emails you send us are kept while we need them to answer you and follow up, and no longer than 24 months after our last exchange; ask us and we delete them sooner. If an email becomes part of a business relationship with you, such as an agreement or an invoice, we keep it with our business records for up to 7 years after that relationship ends, for tax and legal purposes.
Deleted records can remain for a short time in our providers' backups and logs before those expire: up to 30 days for Cloudflare's database restore history and 60 days for Zoho's email delivery logs.
05
Who processes it
Cloudflare hosts the site and the sign-up database. Zoho hosts our mailboxes and sends the sign-up emails. They act only on our instructions, under data processing agreements. We do not sell personal data, we do not use advertising trackers, and private designs, resumes and employer documents are never used to train AI.
06
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, a copy in a portable format, correction or deletion; ask us to restrict how we use it; object to our use of it; or withdraw your consent. Write to hi@3fabrics.com; we answer within 30 days. Every early-access or product-news email includes a way to unsubscribe; the confirmation email needs nothing from you if you ignore it. Deletion removes everything we hold about your address from the list, including the consent record. Depending on where you live, you may also complain to your data protection authority.
07
Transfers, children and changes
We are based in the United States, and our providers process data in the United States and other countries. For personal data from Europe or the United Kingdom, their data processing agreements provide the safeguards those laws require for such transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
3Fabrics.ai is for professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18. Each version of this notice is dated. This version: 30 September 2026.
08
Optional founding interests
If you provide expertise areas, project stages, interests, skill suggestions, or Other descriptions, we use them to tailor founding invitations and plan the community. These answers are optional and are not published as a profile, portfolio, verified skill, or catalog entry.
